GOULBURN HOCKEY ASSOCIATION

Welcome to the Goulburn Hockey

Association!

Goulburn Hockey Association is one of the oldest in Australia. Hockey was established in 1908 in the Goulburn district and has been played continuously ever since. In 2008 we celebrated our centenary of Hockey in Goulburn and if you look in our photographs area you will see some wonderful shots of the celebrations.

Goulburn Hockey Association conducts its competitions at the Goulburn Workers Club Arena in Finlay Road, Goulburn. We have also recently secured three grass fields at Goodhew Park in Neville Street, Goulburn to facilitate our expansion and growth.

Our Hockey Centre boasts a licensed clubhouse with a canteen and B.B.Q. area, together with change room and shower facilities. The playing fields comprise two synthetic surface (Hybrid and Sand) fields with electronic clock/scoreboards. International standard lighting allows matches and training sessions to be held after dark.

Ten local hockey clubs currently compete in regular winter season competition in our Senior and Junior Competitions. Our competition comprises age groups and divisions including:

  • Minkey Hockey
  • Under 7's
  • Under 9’s
  • Under 11's
  • Under 13’s
  • Under 15's
  • Under 18’s
  • Seniors 1st, 2nd and 3rd Grades.

A mixed social twilight competition is held in the summer months.

Goulburn Hockey Association is proud of our representative history with a number of our stars playing in state and national teams. Please see our representative news page for more information.
